Please read the Release notes (or history.txt) and make sure you are going to update a suitable version before start.

Before start, remove all other bootable devices except USB drive containing this BIOS package.
Otherwise you may need to change to different drive label (fs0, fs2…etc) instead of “fs1:” in step 3

BIOS update SOP –
1. Put files from BIOS package into UEFI bootable USB drive.
2. Power on board with USB drive attached.
3. Select boot for shell loader in USB drive (or Built-in Shell if present).
4. Move operating directory to USB drive (fs1 or other labels)
SHELL> fs1:
5. Enter the directory with BIOS file and update batch
6. To update your current BIOS: fs1>go_64.nsh
7. Confirm update procedure is completed without problem
8. Reboot system

This release includses IA32 BIOS (UEFI 32bit), if you are installing a 32bit BIOS, you won’t be able to boot a 64bit OS like ubilinux.

In case you want to use a 32bit operating system (e.g. Windows IoT Core, Windows 10 32bit or any 32bit Linux distribution) please follow the steps above until 5. and then execute the following command:

If your system is running a 64bit BIOS:
fs1> go_64_32.nsh

Or, if you are updating a system which is already running a 32bit BIOS:
fs1> go_32.nsh

Or, if you want to restore the 64bit BIOS on a system running a 32bit BIOS:
fs1> go_32_64.nsh
